Although Dating Direct are the largest online dating service in the UK the site lacks where Yahoo Personals succeed. However Dating Direct does have some nice features, the "who likes me" section, a nice search facility which lets you search by postcode/member interest, photo etc.Premier search, available if you subscribe is even better and this is certainly worth the extra money.

You can upload unlimited numbers of photos which is a nice feature, they're not displayed amazingly professionally and as with everything on Dating Direct, it's not aesthetically please. I did like the success stories, I think they instill some hope in the forlorn daters hearts. I thought the couple of the year bit is a bit cheesy and I worry about Nathan and Alison, the couple of the year in 2004 (obviously 2005 was a bad year). Apparently Alison“worried Nathan would turn out to be 40, fat and balding”, surely that doesn’t bode well for his picture.

That aside, if you subscribe you can send unlimited numbers of messages to members, read messages sent from members, view additional photos, use the premier search and get invites to offline events.
